What is the minimum age?

Players as young as 8 years old can play Low Impact paintball while other players must be 10+ years old to play standard .68 Caliber paintball. For Gellyball we allow players as young as 6 to participate!

Is paintball safe, and how much does it hurt?

TXR has trained referees who supervise games and enforce safety rules. The park describes getting hit as similar to being popped with a towel. Paintball is very safe when played at a legitimate paintball park!

What happens if it rains? Can I get a refund or reschedule?

TXR plays rain or shine. If lightning or severe weather makes play unsafe, games pause; if play can’t continue, players receive rain-check passes. The chat information doesn’t specify a general refund or rescheduling policy, so contact TXR for those requests.

Can we bring food, drinks, or cake?

Outside food and drinks are welcome, but alcohol isn’t allowed. TXR sells drinks and snacks and partners with Marco’s Pizza. They recommend having cake after play; a refrigerator and freezer are available for storage.

Does everyone need a waiver?

Yes. Every player needs a waiver for each visit, including returning players. A parent or guardian must sign for minors. You can complete the waiver online before arriving.

How long is a party, and when should we arrive?

A private party allows up to three hours total: about one hour for check-in, waivers, rules, and equipment, followed by roughly two hours of play. Arrive about 15 minutes before your scheduled time.

Do I need to pay a deposit to book a party?

Yes. A 50% deposit is required to reserve and hold the party date and time.

Do spectators have to pay?

No, spectators are free. Anyone entering the playing field to take photos needs a waiver.

What is TXR Afterdark, and what does it cost?

TXR Afterdark is glow-in-the-dark paintball, generally held on the first and third Fridays of the month; private reservations may also be available. Rental players can book online for $40 or pay $45 at the door. For players with their own equipment, the listed all-in options are $55 with 1,000 paintballs or $75 with 2,000

Can I bring my own equipment, and what does TXR provide?

Yes. Gear owners pay $25 for standard open-play entry, including air for the day; there is no online discount for gear owners. Rental equipment includes a mask and marker, with chest protectors available.

Can I bring my own paintballs?

TXR is normally field-paint only. Players with their own equipment can bring paint on BYOP Sunday Funday, held on the last Sunday of each month (special events excluded). Rental players must use TXR paint, including on BYOP days.

Can I book for a specific date, and how far ahead should I reserve?

Check the reservation calendar for a date’s availability. TXR recommends booking at least two weeks ahead; bookings close three days before the event. Saturday bookings close Tuesday evening. Weekend hours are Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.; weekday play is by reservation.

Which paintball is best for my child or new player?

Low impact paintball is the recommended and best paintball for children 8+ and all new players regardless of their age! Low impact paintball offers the splat, a little sting and all the fun without the pain of the standard .68 caliber paintball!
