Game Setting:

In the Norvinsk region of northwestern Russia two privately funded paramilitary groups fight for control, resources and security following a political scandal that forced the local Russian government to cordon off the surrounding region. The strict no entry and no exit blockade has created a lawless cityscape where even local residents have turned to looting scavenging and hostility regardless of loyalty.

Terragroup, an international research and development corporation known for its back channel dealings and shady business practices Generaled by Colton Unger, has hired its own private military in leiu of the scandal. The USEC (United Security) is deployed to ensure Terragroup assets are recovered and secured regardless of the cost. In direct conflict with the local populace and Russian government this heavily armed and well organized group spare no expense or ordinance to keep its corporate handlers fat, happy and in control.

The Battle Encounter Assault Regiment (BEARS) Generaled by Joseph Bigham are deployed by the Russian state in an attempt to counter the USEC advancement and unseat Terragroup from its grip within the area. As hired hands, while the local military struggle to maintain it's regional containment, the BEARs act as Russias right hand throughout Norvinsk. Their goal is simple: return control to Mother Russia and repel all foreign invaders and dignitaries.

Which side will you fight for?
