Superheroes vs Supervillains
It was a sunny day in downtown Houstonopolis when, suddenly, an explosion rocked the cities core for miles all around. The sky became dark as the cloud of debris that rose up consumed the once-quiet city. From the epicenter of the blast, survivors emerged and rose up, glowing with an unnatural energy. These figures quickly saw that not only had the blast not killed them, it had made them stronger. And with great power, came great and absolute obedience. No one could stand against them, as the source of the blast gave these people what could only be described as “powers.” Some could fly, some were strong beyond measure, some became unbelievably fast, and others could shift into entirely new forms. There were also some who didn’t discover their “powers” until much later. However, it became clear that these powers were all linked to the energy at the core of the blast. “The League of Evil” was born.

But just as the days seemed darkest and that all was lost, another group was rallying together. There were others who were also within range of the blast and, as a result, were also gifted with the incredible and strange powers that members of the League of Evil had. The difference though, this group loved their fellow man and felt all men were created equal, and they made it their solemn vow to defend those that could not fight for themselves; and so “The Defenders” came to be.

But all was not as it seemed, for though the pieces were all out and the sides created there was still a group ready to assert their own dominance and vision into this battle that was about to be waged…..
